2014 Sausalito Herring Festival

The 2014 Herring Run was a great success and the season’s quota is almost caught!  However, due to the high winds and driving rain expected Sunday the Sausalito Herring Festival, a benefit for the Sausalito Community Boating Center at Cass Gidley Marina, will not take place as planned at Gabrielson Park on the Sausalito Waterfront.  To quench your craving for herring please visit the following restaurants, who will be featuring a variety of fresh caught local herring dishes throughout the weekend:

Davey Jones Deli
Osteria Divino
Sushi Ran

Thanks for understanding that as much as we’d like to we don’t control the weather, and we are grateful for the rain.  We’d like to thank all the volunteers and chefs that help make this event possible and hope to see you all next year at Gabrielson Park in the sunshine or at the Bay Model in case of rain.

You’ll be herring from us…
